Responsibilities
Salary : 20,000 - 30,000
Operational Management
Execute import and export shipment registrations for airfreight and sea freight operations, ensuring the correct application of key documents such as bill of lading, commercial invoices, packing list, container information, and other related references.
Arrange shipment bookings, order management, warehousing, transport assignments, and pickups according to client and carrier requirements.
Compile and register shipment details using reference data such as bill of ladings, invoices/packing lists, and job numbers. Compile imported articles for customs clearance processing.
Handle Airfreight and Seafreight B-job registration and documentation.
Documentation and Compliance
Prepare and process operational documents, including cargo arrival notices, invoices, outturn reports, and other required documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), client-specific requirements, and relevant regulations.
Conduct quality assurance reviews on documentation and data entries to mitigate errors.
Communication and Email Management
Systematically manage operational emails by sorting, tagging, and prioritizing communications to ensure prompt and appropriate action.
Correspond professionally with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal departments to address shipment inquiries and resolve operational issues via call or email.
Tracking and Reporting
Update and maintain client trackers, shipment status reports, and operational dashboards with complete accuracy.
Monitor shipment milestones and escalate any issues or deviations to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend process improvements, assist in development and revision of SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the client
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
With 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or operational support roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Preferrably with good communication skills both oral and written.
Familiarity with logistics and freight management systems is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free outputs.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
Willing and able to work on a shifting schedule and holiday.
