Responsibilities
Salary : 30,000 - 40,000
Finance Systems
- Holding an editor role within our planning, budgeting and reporting system;
- Monitoring system logs and supporting with back up processes;
- Supporting the Financial Analyst and learning about the Jedox system.
Data Quality & Analysis
- Reconciling data loaded from source systems;
- Supporting in developing and publishing reports to explain the business results;
- Assisting with user queries and identifying causes;
- Building knowledge around data reporting and visualization.
Business Process
- Holding the accountant role within our credit card and expense system
- Reviewing submitted expenses for compliance with requirements;
- Supporting month end process including journals and account reconciliation;
- Providing reports for the business, tracking submission performance and spend analysis
Other
- Support the wider team when needed with a variety of financial tasks;
- Any other ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field
- Have at least 2 years experience in accounting or similar role
- Great knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
- Working knowledge on MS365, NetSuite, Payhawk
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritize
- Very keen attention to detail and high levels of initiative
- Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills
- Can start ASAP and amenable to required schedules
- Amenable to report onsite in either Ortigas, Pasig City / Cubao, Quezon City
Knowledge, Training, Qualifications and Experience Required
- Numerate and highly analytical with a good attention to detail
- Able to explain financial results in a logical and structured way
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Experience working with data and particularly reconciliations
- Competent with Excel and able to use functions to support analysis and presentation
